Professional Training and Experience

I am a fully insured and Registered Nutritional Therapist, having completed a three-year diploma at the renowned College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, accredited by the Nutritional Therapy Education Commission (NTEC). As part of my clinical training, I completed over 200 hours of supervised clinical practice. My training included functional medicine principles, a science-based approach focused on identifying and addressing the underlying causes of symptoms, rather than simply managing them.

I have also undertaken further professional training with the internationally recognised Institute for Functional Medicine, alongside advanced training in digestive health, and I am an accredited reflux practitioner.

In addition, I am an Advanced EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and Matrix Reimprinting Practitioner, as well as a certified health coach. This allows me to support both the physical and emotional aspects of health, helping clients address underlying stress patterns, behavioural barriers and emotional factors that may be contributing to symptoms. EFT is an evidence-informed method that can help regulate the nervous system, reduce stress and anxiety, and support meaningful and lasting change.

Prior to becoming a Nutritional Therapist, I worked as a Registered Nurse for over 20 years, qualifying with a BSc (Hons) and working at senior level as an Independent Nurse Practitioner in primary care. This experience provided me with extensive clinical knowledge and a deep understanding of how health conditions develop and are managed. I work collaboratively alongside NHS and private healthcare professionals where appropriate.

I am committed to ongoing professional development and regularly undertake further training to ensure I provide safe, effective and up-to-date care.

I am a member of the professional bodies BANT (British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine) and EFT International, and am registered with the CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council), the UK’s regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners, which ensures high standards of training, competence and ethical practice.
