EFT, also known as “tapping,” is a gentle, evidence based therapy that helps regulate the nervous system, reduce emotional overwhelm, and restore a greater sense of balance and ease.

What is EFT?
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) involves lightly tapping on specific acupressure points on the face and body while bringing awareness to thoughts, emotions or physical sensations. This process helps calm the body’s stress response and allows emotional patterns to shift safely and naturally.
When the nervous system remains in a prolonged state of stress, it can affect emotional wellbeing, digestion, hormones, sleep and energy levels. Stressful experiences can also shape neural pathways and belief patterns, and as research increasingly shows, the body keeps the score — holding the imprint of unresolved emotional stress. EFT helps the nervous system safely process and release these stored stress responses, allowing the brain and body to form new, more adaptive patterns and reducing emotional intensity.
Research has shown that EFT can reduce cortisol (stress hormone) levels and improve symptoms of anxiety, stress, trauma and physical pain. Clinical studies have found outcomes comparable to gold standard therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), with improvements often occurring more rapidly.
Many clients report feeling calmer, clearer and more settled after just one session, with a greater sense of balance and resilience. By helping regulate the nervous system, EFT supports both emotional and physical wellbeing, allowing the body to move into a more stable and restorative state.

My Approach

I offer EFT sessions in a supportive and confidential space, allowing you to explore emotional patterns safely and at your own pace.
As a former nurse and Advanced EFT and Matrix Reimprinting Practitioner, I bring both clinical understanding and a compassionate, personalised approach to each session.
Many clients notice a reduction in emotional intensity, greater clarity, and a deep sense of calm following sessions.
Standalone therapy or integrated support
EFT can be used as a standalone therapy for emotional wellbeing, or alongside nutritional therapy to support physical health conditions influenced by stress.
Many clients come to EFT without specific physical health concerns, simply seeking support for emotional wellbeing, anxiety, overwhelm or life stress.
Both options are available.

One hour session: £75 - £90 dependent on location

Professional accreditation
I am an Advanced EFT Practitioner (Level 3), accredited through EFT International, fully insured, and committed to ongoing professional development and supervision.
EFT is a complementary therapy and works alongside conventional medical care.
